Hollow cheeks are the visible hollow between the cheekbone and the jawline. The term comes out of the looksmaxxing scene and does not describe a single feature, but the interplay of three layers.

The bone: how high and how far out your cheekbone sits decides how much shadow falls below it. Once your growth phase is over, nothing about that changes.
The fat pad: everyone carries a fat body in the cheek area, the buccal fat pad. How large it is and where exactly it sits is down to genetics.
The chewing muscle: the masseter sits on the side of the lower jaw and is the only one of the three layers that responds to training.

Two distinctions, so you know what this is not about. Sunken cheeks caused by volume loss, after significant weight loss or with age, look similar but come about differently and are usually not a desired state. And buccal fat removal, the surgical removal of the cheek fat pad, is a surgical procedure and therefore hardmaxxing. We work exclusively in softmaxxing.

The place where you can actually do something is not the cheek itself, but below it:

Training the chewing muscle: the masseter responds to resistance like any other muscle. Train it regularly and the lower half of your face gets wider and the line from ear to chin more distinct. The contrast to the hollow above it increases, and that contrast is what people read as hollow cheeks. The route runs through the jawline, not through the cheek.
Mewing: the tongue resting against the palate no longer changes bone in adulthood. What it does change is posture: tongue up, jaw closed, head upright. That visibly tightens the neck and side profile, and it does so immediately. Expect a habit, not a reshaping.
Nasal breathing: permanent mouth breathing goes hand in hand with an open mouth and a lowered tongue and jaw posture, the familiar mouth-breather look. In adults that changes nothing about the bone, but it does change posture and the soft tissue along the jawline. Nasal breathing at night is therefore one of the least spectacular levers for your lower face.

An honest word on genetics: if your cheekbone sits flat and your cheek fat pad is large, training will not give you hollow cheeks. What it will give you is a considerably more defined jawline. That is a different result, but not a worse one.

Alcohol: the evening before is readable in your contours the morning after.
Posture: chest out, shoulders back, chin slightly back instead of forward. That changes your side profile immediately.
Grooming: a clean beard line along the jaw does more visually than most exercises.
Light and angle: a large share of the hollow cheeks you see on social media is lighting from above and a camera slightly above eye level. Worth knowing before you compare yourself to photos.

Hollow cheeks are not a goal everyone can reach, and that is fine. Your cheekbone and your cheek fat pad are genetics, and no exercise and no product changes that.

What you definitely influence is the lower half of your face. A trained chewing muscle, consistent nasal breathing, an upright posture and enough sleep change your jawline visibly, and they do so for good. Most people get only part of what is in their face without working at it deliberately. That is exactly where looksmaxxing starts.

One closing point that matters to us: a very low body fat percentage is not a training goal and not a shortcut. If your face occupies you to the point where you start adjusting what you eat, that is the moment to talk to someone about it.
